
Kelsie Wells, LPC
I worked in a treatment facility for children, transitioning to an outpatient facility while obtaining my LPC. In practice, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person Centered, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, foster/adoptive, and people experiencing life transitions. I am currently completing an extensive training for DBT.

Rachel Klein, LPC
Rachel has extensive experience working with families and children engaging in art therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person Centered, and Solution Focused Therapy. She obtained her master's degree from Pepperdine University in 2022. Rachel has worked in an outpatient setting since 2021, completing her internship at a local non-profit creative arts facility. Rachel obtained her license as a Licensed Professional Counselor in May of 2025.

Madison Heuertz-McFall, Counselor Associate
My counseling work has primarily focused on children ages 6-18 with concerns related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, and adjustment disorder. My primary approach to counseling is an integration of solution-focused, mindfulness-based, and cognitive behavioral therapies. This integrative counseling approach strives to balance mindful awareness, an empathic relationship with the client, and a collaborative effort at identifying what changes a client can make to minimize emotional and behavioral disturbances. When appropriate I also use art and play therapy techniques with clients.

Regina Cristan, Counselor Associate
Regina offers services in Portland, Oregon and online via telehealth. She has a passion for working with grief and has training in navigating prolonged and complex grief with clients. Through various modalities such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing she offers a compassionate and empathic approach to her work with adolescents and adults. In addition to grief Regina also works with anxiety, depression, PTSD, divorce, adjustment/life changes, and a multitude of other challenges. Regina completed her master's degree through Pepperdine University in 2022.

Jon Rambousek, Counselor Associate
Jon joined Emerald Behavioral Health in December of 2023 and completed his master's degree through Bushnell University in December 2024. He brings a unique background and passion for working with veterans, first responders, and animal assisted therapy. He has primary interest in Existential therapies however he is also receiving training throughout his time as an associate in various other modalities of intervention for teens and adults.

Amber Nascimento, Counselor Associate (telehealth only)
Amber completed her master's degree through Adams State University in June of 2024. She has a primary interest and focus on trauma and working with children and youth. Amber is trained in Brainspotting through level one as well as sand tray and play therapy interventions. She also engages in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and person centered, strengths based modalities. In addition to trauma work, Amber also works to help clients with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and adjustments.

Jennifer completed her master's degree through Bushnell University in December 2024. She has a primary interest and focus on trauma and working with first responders, veterans, and adult clients. Jennifer is interested in pursuing EMDR training and currently uses modalities of CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, and person-centered strength-based modalities.

Maegan Mexicotte, LPC
Maegan's main focus is in trauma healing using brainspotting, CBT, DBT, and other strengths-based modalities. As of March 2024, she has completed trained in Brainspotting for treating trauma through the Pacific Trauma Center through Phase 3. She completed her master's degree in psychology in 2011 and her master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adams State University in 2016, becoming fully licensed in 2019. Maegan also supervises LPC and LMFT associates towards licensure in Oregon.
